This is in my backyard, I took these photos just before I dropped my camera from the bar in the kitchen to the tile floor. I now have no zoom or telephoto. Hmmm I hate to say 'new camera' but I'm thinking that's probably what's going to happen. It definitely wasn't on the top of my 'to buy now' list :-(

We took Route 50 from Pueblo Colorado to Grand Junction and stopped to watch these rafters glide down the Arkansas River. So much water!

Garden of Gods
Colorado Springs, Colorado
National Natural Landmark
Sandstone rock formations that rise over 300' feet in the air. Beautiful and amazingly the whole park is free, I was surprised, there isn't much 'free' anymore. Coming from Nature's red rock wonderland in Utah this was quite a surprise to find within Colorado Springs. They've done a marvelous job with the park and the visitor's center. If you are in the area don't miss this!
